Our love for the
Peruvian horse has motivated us to grow very rapidly. Our kids are growing
quickly and will someday start families of their own and move on to what they want to do with
their lives. My husband and I look at our horses as our retirement and
time together project in the future.
Our
growth over the last two years has been very rapid and we reached a point
where training horses for show and trail had become a full time
requirement. We decided it was time to
look for a
trainer that had the same
philosophy as
we do in training and breeding the horses. |

|
We believe that every horse is
an individual and learns differently from another. This is how we base our
training program. It is important to start out slowly taking the necessary
time to teach the horse.
Especially in the younger horses it is
important not to place undue stress on the muscles and joints. We were
fortunate to find a Peruvian horse trainer, Henry Vargas, to help us in this
endeavor. |
 |
Henry has been
riding and working horses since he was 3 years old. His father is Master
Chalan Alberto Vargas who still lives and works in Peru. Alberto started
Henry out early educating him in the traditional methods of training.
Henry has been training Peruvian Horses in the United States for 7 years.
He has
extensive experience at both the regional and national shows. The
Peruvian horses
he shows consistently place well. Henry has a high
level of patience and kindness with the horses and will not progress to
the next level of training unless the horse is ready. A horse must first
learn to walk. |

We are
currently accepting a limited number of horses for training so please give
us a call if you are interested.
